Arrival Story:
Tate came a long, long way to be my special dog. He was one of 8 boston terriers that was in the Boston Terrier Club of Canada Texas Rescue Round-Up. You can read more about it here: www.bostonfundraisers.com

Bio:
Tate was a stray found wandering the streets in Austin, Texas in March 2005. He was impounded and then rescued from the local animal shelter by Nationwide BT Rescue. Tate was vetted, neutered and placed in a foster home with foster Dads Ryan and Ben. Then he made the trip to Ontario, Canada with four wonderful women in a rented minivan as part of the BTCC Texas Rescue Round Up. He then stayed in foster care in Ontario with Jenny and then the Rothel family until he finally arrived to his final home in BC in mid May. Tate is the answer to all of my dreams, he is the perfect dog for me. He is such a loving and loyal friend. We don't mind that he is deaf as we already have another deaf boston terrier named Trog. They are wonderful pals! Tate and I have recently been certified to participate in the BC Pets and Friends program. He accompanies me to the local seniors home every week and brings cheer and love to his special friends there. He is an awesome therapy dog!
