Likes: Balls. Jem lives for tennis balls. He'll take a ball over a steak every time. Pet-Peeves: He seems to have an irrational fear of my black knap-sack Favorite Toy: Balls, balls, and more balls. (The chuck-it is good too. The throwable kong is sometimes an acceptable substitute.) Favorite Food: On Saturday mornings he and his sister get their kibble with bacon grease. They love Saturdays. Favorite Walk: Out at the farm. Arrival Story: I wanted to get a border collie so I looked around and chose a breeder. When I showed up to look at the puppies there were only two left - Jem and his sister, both of whom had large overbites and therefore had been deemed unacceptable. The overbite didn't bother me, so I took him home with me. The vets call him "the Shark" because of his overbite, but it doesn't bother him, or me, one bit. I've Been On Dogster Since:
