The life of a City dog

Presents!

Yeah...everyone is giving me presents lately. I think I like this.

Mom says we are going to be in Florida for Christmas and Hanukkah (she says I am a Jewish dog) so we are celebrating both holidays with family and friends before we leave. I've got all kinds of good stuff. I got a new leash and collar, a fancy dress for New Years, a Hanukkah stuffed sqeaky dog bone toy, a little rope toy and bully sticks YUMM!!! And mom says I am going to get more presents tomorrow.

Anyway....Mom hopes everyone has a nice Holiday.

Florida?

My mom keeps telling me we are going to Florida for vacation next month. I don't know what this thing called Florida is but mom promises that she won't have to work and will have a lot of time to spend with me. Also she says Houdini is going too and I love spending time with Houdini.


I learned to jump up on one of the couches last week and I have been so excited about it. Mom will lay on the couch and pat her lap and I get a good running start and jump! Sometimes I still miss and fall on the floor though. When I get up on the couch I can stand up and look out the front window. I love doing this because I get to watch all the cars and people pass by. I sometimes try to bark at them so they see me, but mom tells me this is not allowed.

Graduation

Yeah for me I’m now a graduate. Last night I graduated from puppy obedience class. Mom tells me how smart I am. I was a good puppy before class, but now I listen very nicely to everything (almost) mom tells me, and sometimes I listen to dad too. I know how to sit, lie down, stay, come, drop it and leave it. I also learned how to crawl and how to shake with both paws. Mom was so proud of me last night. In 2 weeks I will start my new class. I am really excited.
