My husband and I had given a request at a local rescue to let us know of any Pit Puppies. We received a call that animal control had a young, BIG boy that no one claimed. The animal control officer didn't want to see him euthanized and called us (sort of). I picked him up a day after his "expiration date". Been with us since.
