Arrival Story:
Our old dog died(Trooper), and Lassie was really sad for awhile, Lassie had stopped eating and whenever we let her outside she would just go do her buisness then come right back onto the porch and moan. So we decided to see if a friend would help, and we were going to get a purebred dog, but we decided the dogs in the shelter needed a home more than a purebred dog would, well not as quickly anyways. I found a beautiful Aussie Shepherd, but Lassie rejected Sadie(the Aussie). Then we found some litter mates that same day and were going to get both, but before we could get back and get them they were gone. So we tried a few other Aussie Shepherds, but she rejected everyone of them. Me and Matthew(my oldest brother) found a German Shepherd, and went to get our Dad to see, but he knew a lot about German Sheps. and said it was acting weird, so him and Dad kept looking and I got tired and went out to the car to rest. A few minutes pass and I see a black lab walk in with a lady. About another 1/2 hour later Tesla was in the adoption area and Dad had seen her and knew she was the one. So we thought okay, lets try another dog, thinking she would reject it, and when I mean reject it, I mean bark and grawl and try to kill it. Lassie wasn't the happiest with Tesla, but she didn't try to harm her, so we thought with a little getting use to Tesla and Lassie would be friends, and sure enough they were best-friends untill the day Lassie died. Tesla came home a very loving but cautious pup, but now she's a very loving pup, and cautouis? What's that mean?

Tesla loves swimming. She one time helped me save Maddison. Me and my neighbor friend had decided to take the paddle boat out and it was still cold water so it was probably April or May. We had thought we locked the gates up good enough and I tied up Tesla(They were well known for running away together and going to the lake), but Tesla got out of her collar jumped the fence and undid Maddy's gate. 1/2 acrosse the lake I see Maddy and Tesla coming to the boat, we were just gonna let them come to the boat and pull 'em up but I saw Maddy having some problems so I jumped out of the boat and swam over to them, Maddy was to fat for me to make it all the way back to shore, especially being so cold, so Tesla grabbed Maddy's collar and helped me take her back to shore, I went back to shore 'cause that was the closest and I was freezing and needed outa the lake. But my friend couldn't get the boat back to shore so me and Tesla went back out to get her. Tesla's a spaziod, worse than any other dog I've ever had. She literally can not stop moving, she even moves in her sleep, she wakes me up almost every night running in her sleep! Tesla loves agility, she's gonna be great in it, we recently found a club we're gonna try to get her in. She LOVES agility, if ya set up the course she'll just go do it, in any order of course, but she'll do it with no commands! Since Lassie has died I think me and Tesla has bonded really close. She also seemed to do the goofiest things to get anyone to laugh Tesla is pure muscle, she looks fat, but it's all muscle! She is probably the most loving, loyal, pleasing dog on earth! She gets really upset unless you're 120% pleased! She LOVES loving on people.
