Yes it does.
But it sure feels good to be rid of it.
It's just over three months now, since I had my surgery to remove hepaticellular carcinoma, a form of liver cancer. The surgeon removed a lobe of my liver and got all of the cancer, so I'm officially a cancer survivor!
I'm still eating the cancer diet, with my brother, Bauer, and my sister, Isabelle. We love it, because it's all home-cooked people food. Turkey, chicken, sardines, rice, oatmeal and broccoli, oh, and scrambled eggs every morning. Other than the supplements that mom is continually shoving down my throat (okay, not so bad...I get them in yogurt), I'm living a pretty average life.
I'm due for an ultrasound in the next few weeks, to make sure everything is okay. I hope it is, but am a bit nervous, nonetheless. Plus, I don't really like to lay on my back and have a cold wand with jelly run all over my tummy. Oh well. If it makes mom feel better, I'll do it.
