I don't want a new brother

Why does mom think we should have another cat in the house. Daisy is all we need, she is fun to play with and chase and considers this a game. Mom thinks we need to rescue another cat, I just don't know. She had me meet a cat named Becker, he is very attractive as far as cat's go. Things were going well until I tried to get to know him better by sniffing his butt, he smacked me on the nose, why does everyone go for my nose, it's not that big is it?
