"What's wrong? I'm sorry.. it wasn't me was it?"

Bug Bear doesn't really understand why her mommy is sad.
She knows something is wrong, she keeps trying to cuddle up with her mommy.
What she may or may not know, is that Shotzie passed away today.
She never really knew Shotzie. In Shotzie's later days, she just layed around and snarled at Bug Bear.
But Bug bear never payed it much mind.. she still wanted to be friends.

Food?

There's days when Bug Bear doesn't even eat because she is so obsessed with the lazer. It sometimes worries her mommy.
Bug Bear happens to be so stubborn, she will bark at the last person she saw with the pointer, until she sees that little red dot on the floor.
She seems to actually know that it is a pointer, and that it has no scent or physical touch, but yet she is still determined that she can find a way to eat it.
There's other days where no one happens to have the pointer. It's put away and no one has used it in at least a week, and yet she will think she sees it, when it's not there.
When one pushes the button on the pointer, it makes a little click noise.
This click noise, she knows very well.
When her mommy is plucking her eyebrows, she hears the clicking from the tweezers and confuses it for the button on the pointer. This is yet another example of how obsessed she is with it.
One would think that this is horrible.. it gets worse:
Even when she has been relentlessly been chasing it and is obviously tired and exhausted, she still pushes for more. She continues barking and whimpering for the pointer.
Sometimes her family hides it from themselves- so they don't actually get it out for her. Her mommy worries most that it's an unhealthy obsession.. but Bug Bear seems to think it's just fine..
"I can quit anytime I want," she says. "I Sit around all day.. I find ways to entertain myself. I never ask you for anyhting except love and food, so I'm asking you for this- GIVE ME THE LAZER." She's positioned now up in her mom's face, pulling at the collar of her mom's shirt.
Her mom isn't about to argue with a dog that can reason well.. and there goes the lazer.



It's surprising that she eats at all anymore..
