Although I've always loved dogs, Blacky was the dog who started my love for big dogs. He protected me many times when he was alive and I will never forget two times when he went into protective mode. One time was when he was outside at night and some guys came upto our boat and he barked and growled at them and they ran off. Another time was when my mom went inside for a minute and then a dog ran into our yard and Blacky jumped between me and the dog and growled at him as he were saying "hey she's MY girl back off!" Unfortunatly he died of what we think were effects of bad breeding that didn't show until years later. He is my reason for promoting responsible breeding and spay/neutur. Just because I lost my baby to bad breeding effects doesn't mean others have to suffer the same loss I did. Also he is my reason for loving and defending "bully" breeds!
