I said as long as she wasn't a risk to Ese & Lola and they got along with her, we would be happy to help her. Bio: This little girl had spent the last 5 months in a wire crate in a field with only a tarp for cover. The rescue group I work with was notified after the owners didn't stop by to give the dogs food or water for a couple of days. She was so happy to be released from her"prison" that she flew into the arms of the rescuer that freed her. She came to our home a few days later. Although she had been reported to be housebroken, she had forgotten it in the months she was forced to live outside. She is very bright and is re-learning to be housetrained once again. The pads of her feet are really smooth from months of living on grass so we are starting out slowly on our walks because we don't want her feet to get cuts from the sidewalk. She is a very good heeler (she has obviously had obiedence training) and is very happy to go on walks. She has not had her nails maintained in quite a while so we are working on that too. We are certain that before long she will love getting a pedicure (as every princess should)! She is very shy around strangers right now (but not at all aggressive) but she has warmed up to our family very quickly. She is a great little girl who will blossom to her full potential with a patient, loving family!
