Birthday: February 15th 1991 Likes: Food! Any kind of food! Favorite Food: Pupcorn Favorite Walk: To the food bowl Arrival Story: An elderly woman who had to have surgery took her to our vet's office to be put down. No one in her family would take her. Dr. Nancy looked into her very bright eyes and watched her fat little body skitter around on pencil thin legs and decided her time on earth was not finished. She asked the woman if she could try to find a home... and then speed dialed us to ask us to take her. Keep in mind that she had just raised an eyebrow at us for adopting a 13 year old... and was now asking us to adopt another! Candy was 26.4 pounds when we got her, we changed her diet and she is now getting around easier in her 19 pound body. In the winter, we got her a doggy one-sy to help keep her arthritic joints warm. We discovered that it also helped her get around better. Bio: Candy's "Gotcha Day" was Sept 7, 2004. She left us exactly ten months later on July 7. Of her 14 years, I hope those are the ten months her spirit will always remember. Now she's once again young and running around and can have all the cookies she wants. This little girl made quite an impact on our hearts. The Groups I'm In: ♥A TEAM♥, Dogster's Angels, The Rainbow Bridge Favorite vet: Dr. Nancy!
