Arrival Story:
Holly Belle and Zeke left us for the Rainbow Bridge in 2003. It took several months to recover but then one day it felt right that I could love another dog. Knowing I wanted a dog that would be good with the Grandbabies, we decided to investigate Newfoundlands. With the help of a member of the local Newfoundland club, we located a breeder. After several phone calls, we made the trek to pick up Lucy. It was love at first sight. Our breeder said it was always hard to part with the pups, but she felt it was right for us to have Lucy because Lucy took to us too. Lucy and I are best buds.

Bio:
Lucy is a big bundle of black fur and fun. We have fun at school where she has passed Puppy and Intermediate level. We are working to become therapy certified. She has neighbor friend, 9 year old Mary that comes over to play, helps with training and runs fast so Lucy can chase her. Lucy has filled a big void left by Holly and Zeke.
