Arrival Story:
Went to a rural dog pound to meet a beagle mix I found on petfinder. The beagle mix was unfortunately very aggressive toward my rottweiler in the "getting-to-know you" pen outside the building, and in the meantime, the human friend I brought with me was browsing the puppy room, where, she told me, I should go to take a look at the chihuahua mix. I did, and he got along quite well with my rottweiler, so I decided to take him home.

Bio:
As I was signing the papers to adopt Tommy, they told me he had been returned twice! I took him anyway, and while he's quite a handful (a rascal and a thief--more like a monkey than a dog), and went through a period of aggression which was corrected by making him sleep in his cage at night instead of in our bed, he's become an irreplaceable member of our family, beloved by all.
