Four years ago to the day, my wonderful family adopted me. What a great 4 years it has been! Mum says it feels like it's been forever that I've been part of the family, though. She got a nice mint flavoured bone as a celebration gift. I love it and my family so much.
Guess what? Today it's my birthday! Yipee! I'am offically 4 years old! Wowee. Mom can't believe it. She says it feels like yesterday when she brought me home as a 9 month old scared pup! Now I'm mature..so they say. BOL I still love to bark, chew, romp around, yank at the leash, everything that puppies do!
Unfortunately, we're in between moving right now and we are in a motel, so mom wasn't able to bake a cake or anything for me. : (
BUT, she promises to get me a belated birthday present on the weekend! Yay!
My family went out to Saint Malo to visit family at a campground. And of course they had to take me with them!
I meet my "cousin", a little Bichon (as seen in pics) Kazoo. At first, we didn't get along so well. I wanted my space! He kept following me, sniffing my butt (hmph) and just plain annoying me. But then we got used to each other, after a few exchanged snarls and growls.
We went to the beach too, but unfortunately, dogs weren't allowed in the water. But I just stayed in the shade on the sand and chewed sticks and dug holes. What fun!
My uncle had grilled deer steak and I even got a few pieces! Yum!
It was a lot of fun and I meet lots of new people. Mom was VERY proud of me! I only barked a few times at my uncle, but I was very brave and let lots of people pet me and everything! I was even walking around off leash and I didn't even attempt to run away.
It was a very tiring day, I slept the whole way home!
I hope I have more of these outings, they sure are fun.
