I found my dog at a breeder in Staten Island. I was looking for an Akita, since I knew that they were great apartment dogs. I opened up the Post and saw in big bold letters...AKITAS. When I called to get directions, the man told me that I could not miss the house, there are Akitas on the roof. Well, I assumed, statues, you know or some kind of picture. NOPE...real Akitas, walking around on the roof of this run down shack in the middle of some dark, deserted area of Staten Island. I picked my baby out, she was only 10 weeks old...
