Arrival Story:
Daisy was "fostered" in northern Idaho. She was returned because she wouldn't hunt. Likely this would be due to the lack of training, and being completely malnourished. When she came to me she was 20% underweight. She'd never been in a house, wasn't house-trained, didn't respond to her "name," basically didn't know anything. The first couple months were very trying for us all, but she's now a happy, healthy girl, and (trite as it sounds) she brings joy to my life every day.

Daisy passed away on May 25, 2007. Her kidney's failed and there was, in the end, nothing that could be done. Her sweetness and affection is deeply missed.
