I am very excited because my birthday is coming up on July 4. My brother, Harley, and I will be 1 year old. Daddy said something about cooking us each a steak! Is that better than a Quarter-Pounder? Mommy said that Grandma is bringing me a present! I really hope it is something I can chew on because I get in trouble when I knaw on the telephone.

Today I got to play with three neighbour doggies. First was Biscuit's boyfriend - Cleaveland. Biscuit got jealous and beat me up. Then I played with Moller - she's a sexy brown lab. I rolled right over onto my back for her. Biscuit was jealous again because Mol is her best friend on the street. Then Daddy let me off the leash and I ran around and played with Buster. He is a 2 year old yellow lab and we get along great because we're both "enthusiastic", as Mommy says. Buster is my buddy because he likes to do the same things I do.

Today was also a good day because Mommy bought Bicuit and I each a bbq basted bone. Mmmm! I have been playing outside all day and am tired now, so I'm going for a nap.
