Thanks to Baxter,MaKenzie and their Momma we now have a BEAUTIFUL website to help raise funds for Meatballs surgery and after care.

We need donations of goods for auction. All the information to effect a donation is on the site. You can even subscribe to follow progress ! The site has literally just gone up and we already have 4 donors ! How fantastic are Dogsters ?!

Baxter & MacKenzie are 100% in control of this site and monies received. They have even graciously offered to transfer proceeds directly to Meatys Drs as needed so that we can focus on Meaty.

We have so much to be thankful for ...... cancer be damned!

As for Meaty --- I am obsessing. He is experiencing his 3rd bad day in a row. He is a trooper though and is trying to play and please.
I will admit that with every thing he walks into I can hear the specialist sayin *watch his eyesight ---- it could signify that he is worsening and its starting to terrify me.. He has hit 2 things in the last 2 days ........ and he has been in this same home his entire 7 years.

I cannot let him pick up on my worry ..... easier said than done!

Not to rudely cut this short but Meaty is feeling particularily needy right now and I am off to lay some love on him {as he rakes his nails down my leg!} LOL

Unicorn

Unicorn

A long time ago when the Earth was green,
There was more kinds of animals then you've ever seen.
And they'd run around free while the world was being born.
The loveliest of all was the Unicorn!

There was green alligators and long necked geese,
Hump back camels and chimpanzees.
Cats and rats and elephants but sure a you're born,
The loveliest of all was the Unicorn!

But the Lord seen some sinnin' and it caused him pain.
He says, "Stand back, I'm gonna make it rain.
So hey, Brother Noah, I'll tell you what to do.
Go and build me a floating zoo."

"You'll take two alligators and a couple of geese,
Two hump back camels and two chimpanzees.
Two cats, two rats, two elephants but as sure as you're born,
Noah, don't you forget my unicorns!"

Well, Noah looked out through the drivin' rain,
But the unicorns was hidin'-playin' silly games.
They were kickin' and a-splashin' while the rain was pourin',
Oh them foolish unicorns.

"So you take two alligators and a couple of geese,
Two hump back camels and two chimpanzees.
Two cats, two rats, two elephants but as sure as you're born,
Noah, don't you forget my unicorns."

And the the ark started movin' and it drifted with the tide,
And the unicorns looked up from the rock and cried.
And the water came up and sort of floated them away,
That's why you've never seen a unicorn to this day.

Wow where do I start ......Me & my sister was 7 yesterday & what a great day it was. I got lots of toys & loads of treats which I did share with my lovely family, also some Steak my that was so yummy.
I got spoilt so much of my family & of some of my dogster friends.

Princess Xena & Pocono's Birthday Pawty

We are going to have a pawty for our beautiful Princess Xena & Pocono her boyfriend. Would you believe their birthdays are only 2 days a part.

While proudly showing off your family album, your guest asks, "Isn't there anyone else in your family besides the dog ?"

First time visitors wonder aloud, "Do you smell something?" and you really don't .

Your Vet takes a few extra courses just to keep up with your breed's assorted ailments .

You've traced your dog's family tree further than you have your own .

You break down and buy another pillow so you can have one to sleep on .
