I'm Turning 5 Years Old

Wow! I can't believe I am turning 5 years old! My birthday is 4/17, this coming Thursday. I haven't changed much; I am still a puppy; I love to play with my ball and swim in the pool, go hiking, go to the park, and run in the fields at the school.

I can't wait for my birthday because I have been told that I am getting Frosty Paws, a special ice cream made just for dogs!

I recently got my hair cut very short; my Mom calls it a "puppy cut". I feel much better and now if I get dirty or wet it's not such a big deal.

I Didn't Know I Got a Gift Box!

No one told me! Wow, this is great! Now I can receive fun gifts from everyone!

Speaking of everyone, today is Christmas Eve! Don't tell my Mom, but I already know what Santa is bringing me for Christmas. (Rudolph told me, even though he wasn't supposed to). I am so excited! I am getting a stuffed Gingerbread Boy, tennis balls, and some other toys.

The other good news is that my Mom and Grandma are staying home this year ~ the last 2 years they went away!

I got a brother!

I got a new brother! He is a little kitten. He is small, cute, and fun. He is friendly and playful. He is still a little scared of me. I have learned to be very patient with him. If he walks up to me on his terms, he is okay, but if I walk up to him, he gets scared. However, we have kissed a couple times. His name is Antoine, which is french for Anthony. Today I got a new haircut and my Mom says I look like a model/dog show dog. I hate getting haircuts but I sure feel good now.

Gorgeous October ~ Added New Videos ~ Now I have Long Hair

*Bark* Hello! It's October, and the weather is sooooo gorgeous, I just love to play outside and enjoy it.

My Mom just added 2 videos to my webpage, so I hope you will stop by and check them out.

I now have long hair. At the beginning of summer I get a very short haircut and now it has grown in. It looks pretty but my Mom has to brush me more often now.

I don't understand why Bones have to expire. You see, I haven't had a chance to chew them all yet. So if you stop by, please leave me some more bones! Thank you!

Wow! How Exciting that I got Featured as Diary of the Day!

Yippee! *bark* *bark* I am SO EXCITED!!! arf! arf! My Mom, Grandma and I are just SO HAPPY that I got featured as Dogster's Diary of the Day today!!! This is just great! We have always loved Dogster ever since we discovered it a couple years ago.

I want to say a special ***Thank You*** to all of the Dogs and their parents who have visited my webpage today, and especially THANKS for all of the bones!!! I can't believe I went from 1 bone to over 740 + in one day!!! That is so amazing!!! And a special THANKS to everyone who gave me a rosette, sent me e-mails, and invited me to be their pup pal. Oh, I feel so special.

My Mom doesn't have time to respond to all of the e-mails yet, but she will soon, as I can't type.

The Pet Fair

I recently went to the first official Pet Fair in my county. I had to wait in line with other dogs and their parents. Then in order to get in, I had to pay with a can of dog food. Well right away we went to many booths and each booth offered me dog treats! Imagine how happy I was! Eventually, my Mom had to say "no more treats" because I just was getting too many. My Mom and Grandma got many samples of dog and cat food (for our temporary cat, Tibbi, who we are babysitting for 6 months). I got 2 frisbees and 7 balls. I won a free nail trim, but I was too scared so they gave me a ball instead. I was also scared of the big person dressed in a big dog suit. But I sure enjoyed knocking down the jerky treats which I tried so hard to get at one man's booth. They also had dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, and bunny rabbits for adoption. I can't wait until next year to go back to the pet fair!!!

The weather here is still very nice, and warm during the daytime. So I still swim every day. My Mom says that I am the fastest, most efficient swimmer that she has ever seen.

My Easter Birthday

My 3rd birthday is coming up, the day after Easter this year! So I hope the Easter Bunny brings me a nice Easter Birthday Basket!

Fun Day at Beach, but now I'm Sick!

On Friday, My Mom and Grandma took me to China Camp State Park & Beach. I was so excited. I ran to the beach and went in the water right away. I chased my tennis ball and swam after it. I also dug in the sand. It was so much fun! I must have drank some salty dirty bay water because now I am sick. My Mom says I have the "D" word. My Mom did bring me my own cantine of fresh, cold ice water, and they also had a water fountain with a large bowl for dogs. However, the salty water did it's damage. Now I am feeling really tired this weekend. Hopefully I'll feel better soon. If you go to the beach, don't drink the salt water!!

I Love Pancakes!!!

Today is the Fourth of July and my Mom made pancakes for breakfast. Whenever my Mom makes pancakes, she always makes a small one for me at the end. I always have to wait for it to cool off and this morning I just couldn't wait!! My Mom put it on top of the toaster on the back of the kitchen counter and I just kept jumping, jumping, jumping up to try and get it!!! I just couldn't wait!! My Mom kept telling me "wait until it's cooled down a bit". Well finally I got it and it was so scrumptious yummy that I just gobbled it up! Don't get us wrong, my Mom makes very healthy pancakes with brown rice flour, and rice protein, and no sugar so they are okay for me to eat. My Mom only makes healthy food.
Last night I heard some fireworks from the county fair and I was very scared and shaking and shivering. My Mom told me "it's okay, don't worry"........ then I finally settled down and went to bed.
So far I'm having a really fun summer. I have been going on a lot of walks, visiting the park, and swimming a lot.
