Likes: winning the coveted spot on the futon from his sister (the only piece of furniture they are allowed on); "giving pyr-pats"; car rides Pet-Peeves: Change (any change in the house has to have his approval first) Favorite Toy: Pulling the stuffing and the squeakers from the stuffed toys Favorite Food: Peanut butter; kibble and cottage cheese; liver treats Favorite Walk: Anywhere; running up and down the stairs Arrival Story: Kerbi is our second pup from the Great Pyrenees Rescue, Northern CA (GPRNC). We took his sister to meet him in Placerville (his foster home) where she basically let him know that his adoption would be based on her approval. Bio: Kerbi had a rough life prior to joining the GPRNC program. His story was one similar to the stories told on Animal Planet's "Pet Precinct". Kerbi had another name while in the foster program, but we changed it to Kerbasi which means "warrior" because he is a survivor. He needed lots of love and attention and the opportunity to be a puppy again. Our biggest thrill is seeing how much more confident he has become over the past year and how much he has grown to trust us. You can see it in his eyes how hard he tries to do what's right.
