Hello everyone!

Tank, here. I'm Luke's brother and best friend. And, not that it matters, Mom got me way before she got him. We're both rescues, but special in our own way. Luke is health challenged and demands a lot of Mom's time. I, however, am healthy and charming and utterly irresistable.

I first met my mom when I was a couple months old. Someone dumped me, my mom and my three sisters out in a field. We were very scared of people at first, but my future mom and her friend spent a lot of time with us and we soon came out of our shells and let our true puppy natures shine through.

Mom took me back to Chicago with her and I met my new dog family: Meathead, Lady and Bernie (Luke didn't show up for another two years) -- you'll see them here soon.

When I was about a year old, Mom and I moved back to Watkins Glen. We moved in with two of mom's friends and four other dogs who quickly became my good friends. While Mom was at work, I played with the others. When she came home from work every day, she would have a quick meal and then we'd be off hiking in the woods or the gorge with our friends. We even went to Vermont for Halloween and I threw up on the top of a mountain! I went swimming for the first time in my life at a park in Ithaca.

We eventually moved back to Chicago and then on to the Pacific Northwest! We've been here almost five years and the fun never ends.

In April, my pal Luke had a very serious operation. He's back to his old self now, but in one of my pictures you can see me helping him recooperate the day he came home from the hospital.

Life is great!
