Vacation

Our vacation was great! We went on a loooooooooooong car ride but then we got to go swimming in the ocean and I bit at the waves! It was great! And me and Bailey got to dig in the sand. And stay at a hotel & go to Carmel where all the people love doggies! Fun Fun Fun! And then we were tired so we slept on the bed!

My 2nd birthday!!!

Yay! I turned two last week. I'm a big girl like Bailey now. Mama took me to PetsMart and I got to walk around and pick out a bunch of new toys for me & Bailey to play with. Oh, and I got a brand new Kong! Yay!

Splash dogs too!

I jumped at Splash Dogs yesterday. I practice earlier in the week because I get soooo excited that I am no good at staying. I just want my toy & to jump in the water. I did a good job at staying yesterday though. I took 2nd place in my division & I gotted a red ribbon. I jumped 12'7". I accidently went potty on the dock though (it was just pee) but I was excited & I had to go...but then I got in trouble. Oops! Bailey did good to (it was her first competition). Mom says she will try to post pictures of me & Bailey soon.

Geese!

I forgot to post this one before. What a great story. Two weekends ago Mom & Dad took me & Bailey to dock jump again. It was lots of fun & Bailey & me each had two really good jumps. The kids that were watching were all cheering! Yay for us! But my last jump...my mom threw the toy and it landed behind me so I couldn't find it. But I did see a flock of Canadian Geese so I decided to swim after them. I thought...silly geese...I'm a lab....I love to hunt...why are you swimming near me. So I swam & swam over towards them even though Dad & Mom were calling for me and Bailey was barking at me...I couldn't help it. Then I swam to the other side of the beach and people were trying to catch me so I could go back to my parents. But then I saw the geese again and jumped back in. Finally, I got really tired so I swam back to Mom & Dad. Then they said we had to go bye bye and Bailey was mad at me for swimming without her. Oh well...it was lots of fun for me! Hehe :)

My Big Day!

Yay! Today I went with my family to Auburn for the splash dogs competition. I got to practice dock diving for the first time! Since I was good in practice I got to jump in the competition. I did pretty good but I would run really fast and get sort of scared then I would jump in. But I still won 3rd place in my division & got a ribbon because even though I hesistated and didn't get a running start, I still jumped 11 feet & 4 inches. It was pretty far but Dad says he'll take me to practice and maybe I can win one time! It was lots of fun! Mom put new pictures of me at the competition on my webpage so please check them out.

HI!!

My name is Stormie & I'm a black lab. This is my first time on Dogster. I love to swim & play with my little big sister (she's littler than me but older by three weeks). I used to swim at my grandpa's house but he's moving so my mom & dad are going to take me so I can learn how to dock jump. I love to jump too! I can jump higher than my dad is tall (and my dad is really tall)! Today I spent the day chewing on my Kong because the sky was raining all day. Bailey & me like it when it's hot because we get to swim in our little pool. The only fun thing about today was when we got to make muddy prints from jumping on each other when we were playing steal the kong. Okay, I'm going to go see if my mom will give me a treat now. By the way, me & my sister are big Kings fans as you can probably tell from our picture.
