jess was a lovely cavalier,so gentle,un like emma who was quite clumsy, they loved each other and had some happy times, jess was due to have her teeth cleaned one day but the vet found she had bad kidneys by doing a blood test, she had to go on a special diet ,she liked it at first, two weeks before she died her heart had become enlarged ,she died at home naturaly, the night before i had planned for her to be p t s, 7-12 00,we missed her so much, it took me a long time to look for another, she will always be in my heart and loved for ever

My sweet gentle Jess, its been seven long years since we said good bye to you, you had been a poorly girl for a year, but you were so happy, you even liked going to the vets for your monthly injection.
We knew when the time had come to let you go, your eyes showed us, so on your last day i gave you all the treats you hadnt been able to have , all your favourite things, you really enjoyed them, we put you to bed and some time during the night you slipped away peacfully, you saved us from the horrible task of taking you to be put to rest, i thank you for that, i cried with relief that you hadnt got to go through that.
We had seven happy years with you, you left a big whole which no other puppy could fill and no puppy has, we still have your toys, leads & collar.
So many things have happened since you went away,
so many things to share with you, had you been left to stay.
Every day in some small way, memories of you come our way.
Though absent, you are ever near , still missed, loved and always dear.
Thinking of you today and every day, dear gentle Jess,
Love you always, mummy,xxxxxxxx
