This is the Diary of a Duchess.........
I had the most incredible dream last night.......April 17th 2012 6:23 am[ Leave A Comment | 14 people already have ]
I dreamt that it was a beautiful, sunny, warm spring day (like today) and Mom, sis and I were walking in some big, grassy field and we saw you. You were there all by yourself just sniffing around and I said, Oh my God, that looks exactly like Duchess! You must've heard me because you looked up when you heard me say your name and then you came running over. Your tail was wagging so fast. You were so happy and so were we. You were perfectly healthy and not in any pain. We couldn't stop hugging and kissing you. Then that stupid alarm clock rang and back to the horrible reality that you are no longer here. :'(

I always tell folk that THEY come to us in dreams.... they havent left us.... we just have to learn to "see" in a different way. Duchess was just sending you a message to say she's happy and she loves you too X Hugs, wags and licks... My mom has those dreams about me and they make her wake up with a smile--- it's like we come to visit and remind our peeps how much we love and miss them!! :) Its nice to be able to visit our pawrents once in a while, its our way of showing we're still there watching over you! Soooo precious!!! amazing. :) pooch smooches & licks!! This made me cry!!!!!! R.i.p Duchess gone but never forgotten I had a similar dream about my Shadow a few days after he left us. It hurts to wake up and realize that they're really not there, but the "visits" are precious and I'd rather the pang of reality than never "seeing" my pups again. I am so sorry for your loss. |
