It was a week yesterday since I had to let you go. Coincidentally, yesterday you would've been 8 1/2 years old and we also had our first snowfall of the year. You loved the snow. I can still picture you on our walks when there was snow on the ground, stopping to take mouthfuls of snow. I can still see your big "bear" pawprints embedded in the snow. I remember the way you used to hop through the snow when it was very deep. I remember when there was a deep snowdrift, you digging through it and all anyone could see was your backside sticking out. How I wish you could've been here to see the snow.

She also loved snow. It was like the doggy fountain of youth for her. I wish she could have played in it one last time. I'm sure Zoe and Dutchess are playing in mountains of snow at the Rainbow Bridge. Hugzzz.... Laying up on the cloud and seeing your mom talk about how you did this and that is a relief and sorrow that she must express out. See Duchess, mom is still thinking about you and always will. My mom still does about me too! Anyhow, just have fun here at rainbow bridge with all of us furs. We will always be remembered forever. For you mom, blessed be for you have given the most important thing in your life; love, loyalty, friendship and snuggles to Duchess. She couldn't ask for anything more.
