Wow, have I ever had a busy week. Saturday I was in the St. Patricks Day Parade as part of the Wasatch Waddle. A waddle is like a walk-a-thon for basset hounds. the money goes to help Utah Friends of Basset Hounds (UFBH) help homeless houndies find their forever home. It was for a very good cause but, boy, was I tired afterwards. I was in the Wasatch Waddle last year too, but I don't remember it. I was only 9 weeks old and mom carried me. This year she said I was a big boy and could walk myself. Hmmmf, not sure what I think about that. The waddle was a lot of fun. I wore a visor with shamrocks on it, everyone thought I was really cute (duh!) and wanted to pet me. Afterwards all the bassets got together and played and played.

Then, last night, I had to go see the vetman. I don't like going there, its scary. The vetman checked me everywhere and told mom I was very healthy. Then he poked me three times! Why did I need to get poked if I'm healthy? After that though, mom took me and my big brother Tas to the park. I love going to the park. There are lots of new smells to investigate and the little kids all want to play with me! Yawn,,, I'm going to sleep now, I'm still wore out from my busy week.
