Arrival Story:
I was about 7yrs old and I had just tragiclly lost my beloved dog Sparky. Someone had ran him over and threw him in a dumpster b/c they didnt like dogs. To help soothe my aching heart my dad decided to let me get another dog. He had seen a free dog ad in the paper and then off we went. From the first time I saw her I knew that she would be mine. She was the runt of the litter. Ginger was also very shy. Something we had in common. When we went to see her she ran underneath the car and tried to hide. It took them forever to get her out from under there. 14yrs later and I love her even more than ever.

Bio:
Ginger has always been a very loyal dog. When she was just a pup she ate a huge whole through our couch. I guess she must of been upset that we left her alone. Other than that she has never disobyed. She has been great with kids pulling up at her. Very patient and very friendly. Whenever we take her for walks we get so many comments of how beautiful she is. She looks like a raccoon. Even though she is now deaf she still seems to obey us just the same. She is my little princess!! Ginger was put to sleep Sept. 12, 2006. Everyday has been a struggle to move on without her. The guilt is just so unbearable sometimes. Not sure of where to go from here. I hope one day I can smile without a tear. Goodbye gorgeous.... i know you'll be my gaurdian angle now!!
