Carmen the Pug,

You are the best friend a girl could ever have. Most people laugh when they hear my daughter is a pug, but we both know it’s no laughing matter:)

I am so glad that your father and I decided that we were not going to let your accident get in the way of us getting you. From the moment I sat in the Seattle airport holding you in my arms, I knew that we had made the right decision and I had gotten the right dog for me. You are my special little girl that warms my heart with every snort and grunt. You are a gift from whatever heaven is to someone like me, and I truly adore you with everything I have.

When I am at one of my dark points in life, you are there with your big understand eyes, and your undying love for me. I will never be able to thank you enough for what you have done for me, and I don't ever want to have to imagine life without you by my side stuck to me like Velcro.

I love you Boofie.
