Hot Fun in the summertime

Wow, it has been a long time since I last wrote. I am a busy dog. Now that summer is here, I have been spending a lot of time at grandmas & grandpas because they have a pool. I like to swim in the pool although mommy always yells because she thinks the pool will dry out my skin.

But I am so tired today after being out in the sun all day long. The summer is much better than the winter though. I don't miss the cold snowy days at all.

Run of the House

Mommy and Daddy are getting brave and are letting me have the roam of the house while they are at work. The cage thing is still out but they don't lock me in it anymore. Yeah, for me. I better be on my best behavior or I might be locked in the cage again.

Even though they leave all my toys out and a million blankets all over the room, I still get bored. Mommy tells me every day before she leaves to be a good girl and NOT to nibble on the rug because I have done that before. They got smart though, they put a sheet under the bed (where I like to stay) so now I have no chance of nibbling at the rug. I am trying so hard to be a good girl.

Later, I am going to snuggle on my blanket and take a nap.

Happy New Year!

I had a very good Christmas and New Year. Santa brought me lots and lots of presents. I got so many toys that mommy says she doesn't know what we are going to do with all of them. I love Christmas and presents!

On New Years Eve, we went to my Grandparents house. I am hesitant about going there these days because my cousin, Remy is there. Remy is about three months old and a very playful puppy. She jumps all over me and scares the heck out of me. I just try and hide so she doesn't see me. Maybe she will get the hint that I am older and I am the boss! But for now, she doesn't understand.

Over the Christmas holiday since I turned one years old, Mom & Dad decided to switch my Eukanuba hard food from Puppy to Adult. I was not happy about that. I don't want to grow up. I decided that maybe if I just picked out the puppy food, they would not switch it. But that did not work, so I decided to give the adult food a chance. And you know what, it is not bad at all. I guess it is ok to grow up.

PS. Santa didn't bring me those booties that I was asking for :-(

I hate cold weather!

Yesterday, it was freezing outside. My silly dad took me for a walk down the very cold road to get the mail. Dad didn't realize that my poor little paws could not handle the 7 degree weather. The cold concrete on my paws was so painful that I had to let out piercing screeches so my dad would get the point. Dad finally realized I was in pain and picked me up. I hope it nevers gets that cold again! Mom was telling me that today is the first day of winter and it is going to be cold for awhile. I really hope that Santa brings me those little booties that I put on my Christmas list.
