snoopy's last entry

Well, I am sorry to say that Snoopy has passed away on March 7, 2011 of lymphoma. He was very very sick and mom could not see me hurt anymore. I hurt no more and now join grandma and grandpa in heaven. I will be having eggs and bacon with them and be hurt free. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful life.

Mom passed her test!!

My Mom finally passed her rrt test for Respiratory. She took it the day before Thanksgiving and she is sooo happy. I even got to go to Petsmart to celebrate!!! She was so busy studying she felt bad so she took me out and played with me a whole lot.

October 5, 2008

Well, Today is early yet and I am at Greg's house(mom's boyfriend). I go there when mom has to work because she works nights and Greg doesn't like the neighbors very much because they are wild and drink and do drugs and party all night every night. Mom doesn't blame him much because she worries about me as well.
Greg just came home on Friday from San Antonio, TX. He works out there from time to time. This last trip was 2 weeks and he has to go back for 2 more weeks. I miss him when he is gone. I sometimes think the neighbor is him when he pulls up in his car!
Well, Mom is back to full duty at work. She is happy to be back to work because she needed the money. She says money is very very tight without her night pay and weekend pay!
Great Grandma is moving back to IL this month. She is living with my aunt Shirley. That should be fun!
Deanndra, mom's neice is very sick in the hospital. She had a knee surgery and ended up with a very very bad infection and she had to have another surgery and still didn't get rid of it. Then she ended up with a blood clott and nobody seems to know what to do for her. Mom is going to try to get to Chicago to see her. Our prayers are with her!!! God will pull her through this! I have faith.
Well, we hope that Our friend Lori and her family are doing well....I haven't heard from her in a long time.
Well, mom has to take her test for her license(respiratory) so I am going to get on her to take it...she is very afraid to take it, after surgery and all....she cannot concentrate as well as she would like..she says the test cost alot of money and she don't want to lose the money if she don't pass!...
well, it is getting late...God Bless to All....

What is next?

Well, on July 3rd my mom found out that the doc's didn't get the whole brain tumor out. It is smaller considerably but they do not want to do anything about it just watch it. She has been working days at work and comes home early so it has been good for me.
I just had fatty tumors out and I am all healed and feeling great!! I have been keeping mom busy. I want to play every time she sits down to do something. And I am changing doggy food and have to go out 3x at night!!! but mom don't mind....
Well, We will see what is next....until I write again......have a great week

tumor surgery for Snoopy

On June 19th I(Snoopy) had 3 fatty tumors removed. One was 4cm and 2 were 2cm. I have stitches on my stomach and under my front paw. But I am moving around great...I didn't like not being able to eat the night before and growled every chance I could until after the surgery and mom gave me a few pieces of food. I am back to my normal pain in the butt self.
I just turned 9 years old on June 8th...mom gave me nice gifts. Toys and Bones!!!

Easter 2008

Today mom and I went to Greg's mom and dad's for Easter. It was great to get mom out of the house for the first time since she came home from the hospital this last time. We had ham(well, I didn't mom and Greg did). I just begged for ham. We also visited my grandma and grandpa and great grandma and great grandpa's grave site. We put fake flowers on grandma and grandpa's grave. Boy, we really miss the both of them! It has been a hard 3 yrs. In 2005 we lost grandpa and 2006 lost grandma and 2007 mom was diagnosed with the brain tumor and now 2008 2 brain surgeries! What next? Things will get better right? We pray and pray but....well, we are now positive thinking (like aunt Nancy says to do). Things WILL get better.
Well, I guess things are better because Greg is in Mom and my life. He is wonderful! He has been a life saver for the both of us. WE love him!
Thank God for Greg! We are truly blessed......
Thank God for the people at mom's work and for family and for Greg!!!

brain surgery again on 3/11/08

Mom is back home!!! Things are getting better in that we are together again. I cried because I was so confused when I came home because it has been a come and go thing. I was scared since we just lost my grandma and grandpa(mom's mom and dad) and we moved 2 times since....it all started in 2005 and hasn't stopped! Things will get better once mom gets better!!! We have faith. That is what holds us together...faith. Mom has given me lots of hugs and I have stayed by her side the whole time she has been home. Can't wait until she gets better to go on walks!!!

mom had setback

Well, Mom ended up back in the hospital and had to have the same brain surgery again...complication...but now is back. I stayed 2 weeks at mom's boyfriends mom's house and was spoiled rotten. All is well, mom is back home and I am getting back to normal again....It's taking a while but soon I will be back to my routine.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers everyone sent. We need all we can get.

beagle day!!

Today is BEAGLE DAY IN ILLINOIS. It is our time! Excitement. Lots of people don't like beagles because of their barks....but today we have our day. Mom took me out to PETSMART to celebrate. I got some snacks....well, that is because I lost another pound. I am 24lbs!! I am going to be 9yrs old and people think I am half my age...mom likes that!!! She says I have to live forever or at least out live her but...she is only 32 yrs old! That is a tall order. So I had a snack from PETSMART and loved every minute of it. I had to get my medicine from the vet anyways so it helped it go down. Heartgard and Flea and tick stuff! I hate flea and tick stuff but mom says we have to do it since we live where there are other dogs that can possibly give them to me!!
Well, I have to sleep...remember I am a beagle and like to sleep so .....HAPPY BEAGLE DAY and THANKS GOVERNOR for making it BEAGLE DAY! AND ONO>>SP>>> Thanks for winning the BEST IN SHOW!

Mom's surgery Feb. 11, 2008

Mom's surgery is over! She had her brain surgery and it went great. She was in the hospital for 5 days and I stayed at Greg's (mom's boyfriend/my daddy's)parent's house. I was treated like a king! Mom had a hard few days in the hospital having to lay flat on the bed so pressures would not go to her brain. When she came home she could not take me outside to potty. People came over and were wonderful and took me out. I liked seeing so many people. Jodie(mom's good friend) said she would not pick up doggy poop poop but she was nice enough to do it for me while mom was laid up. 5 piles per time she stayed with us for 2 days. Aunt Nancy...she was great too she came over after work and let me out and she was able to help mom out alot. Cousins Dennis and Deanndra stayed over night to let me out. I am sooo happy mom is doing better. Soon maybe life will be normal again.
