Pet-Peeves:
Being brushed and having my ears cleaned! I hate it and can't sit still! It drives Mom and Dad crazy.

I love my towel! I carry it around proudly! My favorite thing is to shake it around wildly. But when I'm too tired I love to sit and chew on it!

Mom said that I needed my summer cut, so last week I got my very second grooming. Boy was that a long day! I was really excited when Mom came to pick me up, but boy was I grumpy from the ladies at the dog salon pulling at my fur all day! To reward me, mom and dad took me for a long car ride to see my grandparents. I always love car rides but this one was kind of scary! I kept on hearing these loud clapping noises from outside the car and the sky was lighting up like someone was turning the lights on and off a million times. I kept real close to Mom and wouldn't let her out of my sight. I think I even heard her call those noises a storm or something. Finally we got to GrandMa and GrandPa's and I was really excited to see them! I even tinkled a little bit when I saw them, I was so happy. Grandpa really loves me, he always pets me behind the ears and on my belly a whole lot! Grandma doesn't like it when I give her kisses on the toes but she pets me anyway! The second day we were there Mom let me run around outside without my leash!! I was having the time of my life. Mom even showed me what a bird was and how to chase it. That's a cool new trick that I hope I can use more often! I even tried to make a new friend named Peaches but she decided that she really didn't want to be friends. She kept on growling at me. Whatever that means. I have plenty of friends back at home, so I wasn't too worried. The day after that we hopped back in the car and drove home. I had a great time visiting with GrandMa and GrandPa. They are always so much fun and give me lots of treats and take me out on walks and rub my belly, but I'm glad I'm home now! I sure did miss jumping on Mom and Dad's bed and rolling in the sheets! GrandMa and GrandPa won't let me do that when I'm at their house. Anyway, it's great to be home. - Woof
