Being an only child myself Candy became my best friend. She would go everywhere with me.
As candy got older she started slowing down because of old age. She would sleep alot more and not want to do much.
Sadly on Sept 23, 2004 at the age of 14 (in about 3 weeks) we had to have her put to sleep.
