 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 2nd 2001
Likes: Car Rides, vacation, sleeping in between mom and dad, going outside

Pet-Peeves: Door Bells, blowing on her, her cage, live Silky Terrier Statue I got for Mother's Day and vacuum cleaners

Favorite Toy: Her AFLAC stuffed Duck. She loves throwing it and chasing it and everytime it lands on the groud the duck says AFLAC. Sometimes at 2am we hear AFLAC and we know she is running around.

Favorite Food: Cookies and Greenies and any kind of Beef.

Favorite Walk: She loves taking walks in our neighborhood and keeping the other dogs in check.

Best Tricks: Ballerina (dancing) She also knows how to get through the crack of the door just right when we open it just a little to squeeze out. She some how escapes and runs and runs and runs. That is her best trick LOL

Arrival Story: She was a Mother's Day gift(2001) from my husband Dale and son Michael. We really don't remember life before her because she has become our life the day my husband brought her home. What was really neat about Yappy is that she never cried the first night we got her. We figured it would be a rough night being in a new place. We put her in between my husband and I in bed, and she went right to sleep and slept through the night and that is where she sleeps every night ever since.

Bio: Yappy is the most outgoing dog I have ever met. She has so much spunk and energy. She keeps us on our toes. She loves her big human brother Michael and her brother Cletis (A Dalmatian) and her 2 cats Tiger and Jarrett that she keeps in line for me. Her vet says she is very dominant and takes charge of all the animals in the house. She lets them and us know she is in charge. Yappy always goes on vacations with us. She loves to GO anywhere at anytime. She is a GREAT traveler. We say lets go bye bye and she starts jumping for joy. One thing I can say is she LOVES her Mommy and Daddy and lil brother Michael a lot. She is also a great snuggler. She loves sleeping up against her mom and dad.

We received Yappy 4 years ago today. It was on Mother's Day 2001. I will never forget when my husband brought her into the house and handed her to me. It was love at first sight. I had always wanted a Yorkie and so my husband searched everywhere for one and nobody had one available in our area so he got me a
Silky Terrier which is pretty much the same thing as a Yorkie just a 3 pound difference. Silky's are a Yorkie and an Australian Terrier. That is what makes a Silky.
Everyone always ask how she got her name. Well as you read above I always wanted a Yorkie and so every time I would see one I would say Honey there is the dog I want. And he would say are you sure you want one of those dogs that YAPS all the time a little Yappy dog. And I said yes I do. Well as soon as I got her I was like Lets name her Yappy! And trust me if anyone has a Silky or a Yorkie then you know my husband was right ;) The name fits her just fine.
God Bless you and your babies. And Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers.
Michelle~
