Quick Bio:

Food, correction, YOUR food. Regardless of what it is. Taste is no issue. Although sleep could be a close second. Hard call, honestly.

Whenever no one is paying attention to her. Or, when you are ignoring her repeated attempts to get your attention and play tug-of-war with whatever slimy toy happens to strike her fancy at that moment.

Favorite Toy:
Her ropey, the green sheep, or her little brother.

Favorite Food:
Anyone else's.

Favorite Walk:
To the kitchen, or anyone who has food.

Best Tricks:
Dancing for a piece of cheese.

Arrival Story:
I've wanted a basset hound for three years; even had a name picked out. Well, a friend suggested a breeder, and for kicks, I decided to call her (they had a litter on their website). As it turns out, the litter was going to be listed in the local paper in two days, so I had to hurry and make a deposit. In no time at all, I had my little puppy!

Cute, tri-colored female that is opinionated, but not very noisy. Likes to sleep (a lot) and eats pretty much anything. Very effective at conning her owners out of anything, particularly money for toys. Not to mention, people who don't own her, too.

Forums Motto:
Born to sleep... Hard.

About a month ago, Mommy and Daddy found a lump on my left shoulder. It didn't really bother me, but Mommy got scared and cried a bit. It was kind of like a peanut M&M, hard and about the same size. Mommy and Daddy had to take me to the vet. The doctor felt it, and told me that I would need to get it removed.

Two weeks ago, Mommy took me to the vet and left me there. I was good though, and didn't cry or bark or make a fuss. I remember that they put me to sleep, and when I woke up, my shoulder was shaved and it hurt. I had these weird little metal things and a cut. But the lump was gone! Mommy called it a "Tumor". Mommy and Daddy came and picked me up, and later they told me that I slept the entire ride home. I was so groggy that night, but it didn't stop me from stealing Mommy's macaroni!

Mommy says that I have to go back to the vet this Friday to have the staples taken out of my shoulder. They are also supposed to tell me whether the tumor was a bad kind of tumor or not. I heard Mommy and Daddy worrying about whether or not it's something called "Cancer". Mommy was really upset over it, but Daddy says it will be okay, and it is probably nothing. I sure hope so, because whenever Mommy talks about it, she gets really upset and looks like she is going to cry.
