Quick Bio:
-purebred-dog rescue

Likes:
Going for walks, going to the dog park, sleeping on a minimum of two beds at a time.

Pet-Peeves:
Not going for walks, seeing other dogs walking by the house when he is inside, having to wait one second longer for dinner than he feels is necessary.

Favorite Toy:
Anything fuzzy and squeaky.

Favorite Food:
He has a super sensitive stomach, so he eats special prescription food.

Favorite Walk:
We have a pretty lake with walking trails about two miles from our house, and that is definitely his favorite place to go walking.

Best Tricks:
He really is useless in the trick department. He is great at holding his beds down so that they don't float up to the ceiling.

Arrival Story:
He was originally from some horrible person who used him as a racing dog. He wasn't very fast, because his front legs are slightly bowed, and so he didn't win. They treated him terribly but the one good thing they did was let a family adopt him. The family said that when they got him, they couldn't even tell what color his coat was because he was so malnourished that his fur was covered in flaking skin, so he just looked white. He also had lots of fire ant bites. The family who adopted him had to move and couldn't keep him. We had wanted to adopt a retired racer for several years. We had just bought a house with a yard when we saw his ad.

Bio:
We are very sad to say that Cooper passed away due to cancer on June 20, 2008.
