It Is Oh So Sad Here

Well the day has finally came. Hannah Basheba is no longer with us. She died at 10:10 a.m. yesterday morning. Mommy and Daddy was at her side side kissing her rubbing her and loving her as she passover into her new life. I know Hannah is happier now cause she doesn't hurt anymore. But geez....I sure do miss her. Well, I have to go blow my nose again.

Boy It's been a long time!

Boy oh boy have I missed you guys!! We had a really long summer with vacations, baseball, and football. Then the unthinkable happened to me! Scooter Boy and I got the greatest news..we were going to be mommy and daddy. But, there were no babies. I have been so depressed. This is my second false pregnancy. Scooter is still my man though. He stands behind me through thick and thin. I know things will be looking up for us. We have a new grandbaby in the house and there will be another one coming home in March. Wow!!! I get to sit beside the baby and watch him. It is cool. Each time he cries, I go get Maamother. Well, I think we are about to take a walk. Hopefully our lives have slowed down alittle until baseball starts back up.

Oh My !!!

Oh my what a month we have had! I have been so busy! This is our first night home since May 27th. Well the kennel thingy wasn't soooo bad. It was just that mommy was gone for 10 loooong days. Then once mommy and daddy got back home from their ship trip and I licked them all afternoon, we were at the baseball games every night where daddy is a coach. I even got to go to the All-Stars game with my All-Star jersey on but boy I had to take it off quick cause the heat index was in the hundreds. So now we're home for a week and then off to the state play off games. Then maybe daddy's team will go back to the World Series! The boys on the team call me the Little Mascot whatever that is. I think this is going to be a great summer for me and Scooter cause we are the travelin pups! Well I am off to bed!

Mom Is Acting SO Weird

Well....I have never in my life thought my mom would ever make ME of all people...I mean pooches stay home from work but that day has come! She said she is doing the weaning thing. What's up with that? And what is a Cruise Ship? And What on earth is the Holidog Dome. Hannah Sheba says not to worry that she be right there next to my cage. A CAGE!!!! WHAT IS A CAGE???? Oh me-oh-my I am getting nervous. And all of this happens in 6 days. I think I am going to go hide under mommy's covers now.

What A great Day

Well I didn't like last night one bit! It thundered and lightened and rain and hailed and I was scared. But this morning when we got up it was great! Mom decided we were staying home from work today. You know I go with her just to make sure she dots her I's and crosses her T's. It was awesome outside. Sunshine and cool! Baby Tar even got to come out for a while and play. We stay out all day long. I caught a bee! I caught it in my hair. I chased it in circles trying to make it dizzy a fly away but mom had to come to me recue before it stung me. Well this little pup is pooped!

Sassy Jane's Saturday at the Comfort's House

It was so wonderful to sleep in til 9:45. The stupid phone woke us all up! We got up and headed o-u-t to do work in mom's flower garden. It is a never ending job! It was pretty chilly this morning so I just sat in moms lap and watched her pull weeds and smelled of each one as she pulled them of the ground. Scooter was getting in trouble for sprinkling tinkle on mommy's new flowers. He thinks he is such a stud muffin all of the time! Well...he IS my stud muffin. We played so hard all day. We chased butterflies, bees, birds, and squirrels. Never caught anything but dirt. After a long long day outside, mom and dad left for a few hours. But when they got back they had a bag of GREENIES!!!! Oh my I was in Doggie Heaven. (I think Scooter snuck 2 of them) Boy is his day coming! Oh. Does anyone know what the Holidog Inn is? My mom and Dad keep telling me that me and Scooter are going there soon for 8 days. I have never in my life spent one day away from my mommy. She always takes me everywhere she goes. She has been talking about a big ship here lately. Will the Holidog Inn be nice? I better go see what Scooter is doing.

This was a very busy day for me. After I finally decided to get out of be at 10:00 ....only because mom was taking the sheets off of the bed to wash them, We all went outside for the day. It was so sunny and pretty. Mom was planting her spring flowers and I helped her dig the holes. I smelled of each flower and each plant before she put it in the ground. Then Scooter came along and watered them for her! The fresh air , digging holes, planting the flower garden, and playing outside all day, I was one pooped pup last night!
