Arrival Story:
Mack started out as a foster dog. He and his sister (Molly) came to me in July/2003 as owner surrenders from a bad situation. It wasn't long before we decided we couldn't live without him and he became a permanant addition! Mack is an extremely loyal dog. And although he is not overly affectionate, he follows my every move and is my constant companion. He has had a rough life and is still overcoming some issues that stem from his previous environment. He is very leary of strangers, especially teenage males. And even when things are perfectly calm, he seems to remain tense. He also suffers from seperation anxiety. Undoubtedly his emotional wounds will never completely heal, but he is a wonderful dog and he continues to get better everyday.

On August 25, 2005 our Mack went on an adventure in the forrest one afternoon and never returned home. We miss him desperately and still hold out hopes that he will one day return.
