Come again another day!! I am so sick of the rain. we are on day 17 of it raining. Oklahoma and Texas are flooded. Our friend Muffin, is going to start building an Ark and head this way to get me and Dallas. Our back yard looks like a lake and the front yard is a swamp. you can't even go out and do your business, the water is so deep. We tried going to the park but it was just as bad as our yard.

Here are the rules of the game!

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

Here are my 7 fun facts:

1. I love men over women, except for my mom

2. I have a crush on my vet!

3. I don't like to be woke up before 10 AM

many have sent me this poem today, on the loss of my little brother and night playmate. Thank you all.

I will lend to you for a while
a puppy, God said,
For you to love him while he lives
and to mourn for him when he is gone.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe for two or three (or even a few months)
but will you, till I call him back
take care of him for me?
He will bring his charms to gladden you
and (should his stay be brief)
you will always have his memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise that he will stay,
since all from earth return,
but there are lessons taught below
I want this pup to learn.
I have looked the whole world over
in search of teachers true
and from the folk that crowd life's land
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love
nor think the labor vain
nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again.
I fancied that I heard them say
"Dear Lord Thy Will Be Done,"
For all the joys this pup will bring,
the risk of grief you will run.
Will you shelter him with tenderness
Will you love him while you may
And for the happiness you will know forever grateful stay.
But should I call him back
much sooner than you have planned
Please brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand.
If, by your love, you have managed
my wishes to achieve,
In memory of him that you have loved,
cherish every moment with your faithful bundle,
and know he loved you too.

Girls Day Out

Saturday was so much fun. It was just me and mom. We left all the boys at home and we went shopping. We went to Hobby Lobby first but didn't stay there long just in to pick up some paper and out. Then we went to Atwoods, a Farm and Ranch store here. We were at Atwoods a long time cause everyone wanted to play with me. The store was really crowded and all these kids were coming up to me giving me kisses and I would kiss them back. I even laid down for some of them (of course it was the men) so they could give me belly rubs. One boy shared her pop corn with me. His dad said something about it looks like Sassy Girl is a little spoiled, duh mister, I am the princess of my house. Finally mom told him that I am a princess cause I have 1 older brother and 2 little ones. He laughed, don't know what he thought was so funny. I just cocked my head to the side and looked at him, guess everyone thought that was funny too.
In the back of the store I could hear this chirp chirp and when we went back to the back. I got mom to take me over to see and there were all these little chicks, I stuck me head down in the pal but it was to deep for me get all the way down but when I did that, they all started chirping alot and really loud, scared me and I jumped. everyone around us started laughing. We were getting ready to go check out and this man brought mom a bottle of water and said he would go find a bowl. mom told him I didn't need one, she opened the bottle and I started drinking from the bottle, all the people around were going that is so cute, look at her drinking from that water bottle. People are really strange, they drink from water bottles why do they not think I can.
We got home the boys were so jealous they wouldn't leave me alone. I know they were wanting to hear about my day out with mom but they are silly boys and they wouldn't understand.

Life as I once knew it!

dear diary

my life as the princess as I once knew it is over. I just know it. these two new little brothers, Rascal and Joker, give me no peace. they are alway nipping, biting, barking, stealing, something all the time. I like the little guys but give me some space. mom keeps saying they are young, you have to be easy with them. what about them being easy with me!! Dallas and I had things worked out between us now these 2 come and things have to change.
I can't even take a nap without one of them climbing on my head or biting my little nub of a tail. Can't go outside and poop in private they have to come stick there nose in my business.
I will be playing with a toy and they come take it. I swat at them and go to get it back and they cheat. they run under the sofa or the kitchen table and I can't get under there. I was eating my bone, Rascal comes and gets it, it is nearly as big as he is. Thank goodness mom was standing there and took it back for me.
To top it off, they have decided they like my crate. I will be laying in my crate minding my owe business they come right in with me. This is my space, mom comes and gets them out and shows them where their crate is, as if they don't know they have the newest ones. They have all the new stuff and they keep taking mine and Dallas'. (try to take Dallas')
Can't go outside and run full speed cause they are out there and you have to make sure you don't run over them. then Dallas and I will be playing tug-a-war here they come thinking they are just as big and can play this game, we can't even feel them on the rope. Thank goodness Sadie Boo and Stormy sent them ropes more their size for them to play with and they can leave our big ropes alone.
everynight Dallas and I always get brushed well dad is trying to get these 2 into the routine I have to say Joker does pretty good but Rascal, he yelps and squirms and pulls away you would think that dad is killing him.
Dallas and I always snuggle with mom at night on the sofa, Joker thought he had to get up them last night, no way, that is our mom time. he only stayed a little while then went and sat with dad in the chair.
I guess I will get us to them but I wish they would hurry and grow up before I lose my patience with them and one goes flying through the air doing a flip.

'Twas the night before Christmas, Sassy Girl and Dallas- style

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, except wild-eyed Boxers named Dallas and Sassy Girl;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
Not knowing the fawn and furry Boxer duo would soon be there;

Regena and Mickey were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of secret treasures danced in Dallas and Sassy Girl's head;
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and Dad in his cap,
Had no idea that Dallas and Sassy Girl was getting ready to pull all of this crap,

When downstairs we heard such a clatter,
We sprang from the beds to see what was the matter.
Down the stairs we flew like a flash,
But the Dallas and Sassy Girl had already tore open the presents and were having a bash.

They lay their proud of themselves as they chewed the fake snow
I looked back down at the damage below,
When, what to my tired eyes should appear,
But the Dallas and Sassy Girl had decided to get up and eat our plastic reindeer,

With a hint of innocence, they were so lively and quick,
I thought it was a dream and gave myself a prick.
More rapid than a bear, their terror had already came,
And I shouted and called them a few choice names;

"Now, Dallas and Sassy Girl! I asked them to listen, but off they went!
Around the house I chased them until I was totally bent!
To the top of the stairs! Around the wall!
They dashed away! dashed away like theywere laughing at us all!

Their eyes full of joy-- how they twinkled! how merry!
Their cheeks puffed out from the mouth full of paper, me so mad I turned red like a cherry!
The drool from their mouths dropped down in a steady flow,
And their chins white with toy stuffing looked like snow;

The ornament they held tight in their teeth,
Was just a preview of the damage as they tore down the wreath;
Glancing up into the kitchen I seen the eaten Santa doll with the little round belly,
They even ate our Christmas grape jelly.

It was just so much to take in, a right jolly night itself,
And I laughed when I saw them, in spite of myself;
With a wink of their eyes and a twist of the head,
Soon let me to know I had a lot more to dread;

They barked not a sound, but went straight to work,
Ripped down all the stockings; with one jerk,
And laying their paws aside their noses,
And giving a nod, up the Tree they rose;

They tore down the tree, making a sound almost like a whistle,
And down it came, breaking our crystal.
But I heard them exclaim, ere they ran out of sight,
"WOO, WOO, WOO AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!"

Dear God
I just want a moment of your time,
'Cause I've got a prayer I think you will be happy to hear.

There's no request list
This time when I pray,
I just want to thank you for this year

First, I want to thank You
For all the toys and treats
For all the wonderful friends
we have met on Dogster and Catster
For mom and dad and Dallas too!

And thank You for sending
each and every pal we have
We are sad for the ones that have gone on to the
Rainbow Bridge but happy they are now out of pain

Thank you for creating me
Thank You for helping my dad chose me for mom
And last, but not least, God,
Thank You for You

Mud Bath and Mud Wrestling

I had a not so luxurious mud bath but so much fun, there was no special treatment and pampering.

I started my bath in the backyard. Started by digging a hole, with the help of my brother Dallas the hole was filled with rich dark dirt, really nice rain water, clay, and some grass, the rain water was just the right tempature. I immerse myself, slipping just under the surface. Whether this warm and oozy mineralized muck actually pulls toxins from my skin is irrelevant - this is just so much FUN! Like a getting a new toy or bunch of treats, add this mud bath experience too your next backyard play time. Despite what you might think, I didn't get in as trouble as I thought. Of course Dallas and I had to have some mud wrestling along with this.

I was shocked though I didn't get in trouble, I think it was because mom and dad were laughing to hard. I shouldn't have done the shake before going out side to get hosed down. I think mom is still cleaning mud splatter off the wall and ceiling.

It's suppose to rain again this week, Dallas and I are wondering if we will get to do some more mud wrestling.
