This is my first diary entry!

I've finally decided to speak up and say hi to everyone! I've always been shy and the "Silent One". That's what mom calls me. She tells me I'm very special. Mom knows I like to go sleep somewhere all day and not bother anyone, that's just the way I like it. But ever since my little sister Lily came here I feel so out of place. Ok, humans call it jealousy.

I miss the times when mom would sit in her recliner at night and I would curl up next to her legs. But Lily is always getting her attention first. So I just go upstairs and sleep where no one can find me.

Somedays I'm just so sad. But mom can tell and she calls me all her favorite nicknames and I feel better. At least until Lily comes in the room. I love my mom very much and she loves me! So there...Lil.
