MOM'S WISH

MY MOM PATTY WISHES THAT I DIDN'T HAVE BLADDER CANCER AND I COULD LIVE MY LIFE OUT AND DIE OF OLD AGE MOM LOVES ME SO PEOPLE TELL HER TO BE HAPPY FOR THE TIME SHE HAS WITH ME AND I KNOW SHE IS BUT SHE ALSO HAS TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT THIS CANCER COULD TAKE ME VERY SOON OR LET ME HANG ON FOR SOMETIME ONLY GOD KNOWS

MOM THINKS THAT I'M THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD AND SHE LOVES ME SO AND MY DAD TAKES SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME HE WILL MISS ME SO HES MADE SURE THAT I HAVE HAD THE BEST TREATMENT IN THE AREA I FEAR MY TIME IS GETTING SHORT MY CANCER DR TOLD MY PARENTS THAT THERE IS NO MORE CHEMO FOR ME MY GOOD FRIEND TIGGER IS LOOKING OUT FOR ME AND DOTTIE AND CHERRIE AND KELESY YOU SEE THEY ARE ALL AT THE BRIDGE AND HAVE GONE THROUGH TCC AND HAD TO LEAVE THERE PARENTS ANDI KNOW ONE DAY I WILL LEAVE SOON SAYS SHE WILL EXCEPT IT BUT I KNOW HOW HARD IT WILL BE FOR EVEREYONE I LOVE TO HAVE TO SAY GOOD BYE

GOOD THINGS

WELL I MADE IT THROW CHRISTMAS AND I HAD AWONDERFUL CHRISTMAS WE HAD IT EVERYDAY FOR THE WHOLE MONTH OF DECEMBER AND MY MOM PATTY SAYS THAT EVERYDAY IS LIKE CHRISTMAS BECAUSE IM STILL HERE I HAD A DOSE OF CHEMO 8 DAYS AGO AND IM STILL DOING FINE THE MASS HASNT GROWN ANY SO THEY GAVE ME JUST ALITTLE MORE OF THE CHEMO MED TO TRY TO SHRINK THE MASS WE WILL KNOW MORE THE 24 TH THE ONLY THING I DONT EAT GOOD ANYMORE BUT I LOVE TO PLAY AND STILL I GIVE A LOT OF LOVE MY MOM SAYS ITS STILL CHRISTMAS HUGS BYE

WOW...DO THINGS CHANGE BUT SOME STAY THE SAME

Two years ago when I made my first entry, I was the picture of health. My vet dr. said I was the perfect Westie (and my mom will always think that). Today I'm sick....some of the drs. say I really don't know I'm as sick as I am, but Mom knows and I see her worry along with my dad who I saw cry. I went through bladder surgery, 5 or 6 rounds of chemotherapy and to more drs. I don't complain much about anything and I have a new diet...Mom cooks for me now so I've gained a few pounds which I have to lose...the dr. said so. I have bladder cancer. The things that haven't changed? I'm still the sweet little Westie I was and will always be!

life is to short

My life has been wonderful and is still very good but this winter I started to have problems it started with blood in my urine so I went to the Dr. who said I had a infection and gave me medicine. This went on most of the winter and part of the summer till they took some pictures of my bladder and then it started going down hill from there. I was lucky the mass cancer they found was in a spot where they could do surgery so they did June 26th. Now I take my meds very good and and don't eat any more store dog food my mom cooks for me and I love it. Today I go for my second treatment of Chemo. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. There is a lot more to the story but that's the short of it!

What a life I lead

I sleep as long as they let me then get out of bed go outside for awhile and bark at what ever is going on and also to let the neighbor hood dogs know I'm up then I come in and have alittle something to eat sometime ground chicken or ground turkey sprinkled over my dog food then I take a trip to Marks office to see if we can play . Everyone goes to work and I stay home and wait for the paper boy or the ups truck or anything else I may want to bark at. Have lunch play go outside to let the squarrils know I'm still around and then in for maybe some more play and map time then dinner then watch alittle animal planet them to bed to start all over . Oh ya I get a new toy most weeks FRED-C-DOBSEY
