Favorite Walk: Through the neighborhood and to the park
Best Tricks: Kisses when we say "I love you"
Arrival Story: Dori was in a military couple's household (nothing against military, my husband is as well), but they both deployed. They left her as a puppy with a lady while they were gone. They came back to a dog who was severely underweight and had been kept in a crate for their entire deployment. The husband had PTSD and her being young still, she was excited to be back in her home. She climbed on the counters and was thrown into a wall. She was placed on Craigslist and wound up in my boss' rescue. We had an immediate connection and I worked with her through all her seizures, etc. She still has muscle development issues and her legs are very weak. There is also proof that her her front legs were broken, but she walks fine now.
She has severe trust issues, but clings to me and snuggles up every night. We love her dearly and she is an incredible addition to our 2 lab mixes and chinchilla
