Arrival Story:
On the 22 of June 2013 I went to a local pet store for a puppy fix. (I don't agree with getting cats or dogs from petstores. But when you need a puppy fix they are the best place.) They had a lot of puppies that saturday and I picked up a basset hound and a french bull dog and was all about done with holding puppies when I laid eyes on a cage with little staffy looking puppies in it. There looked dirty and had runny poop in the cage. I wasn't going to pick them up. but as they all moved around I saw the smallest little black bundle underneath the rest of them. I reached in a wiggled him out from where he had wedged himself under the food bowl. I put him to my chest and he didn;t move for a bit, and then he nussled his head into my neck and let out the biggest sigh I have ever heard come from a puppy. I held him for about a half hour. I wasn't sure about taking him. I, after all, had not planned to get a puppy that day. I got the details of the people who had brought him in, and decided I would think it over first. The rest of the day I all I could think of was the tiny little puppy who had did not fight when the other puppies lay on top of him. The following day (After much thought) I called the people who owned the litter and asked if I could come and have a look at them. She said it wasn't a problem, but that I should know first that they were Pit Bulls. I had heard so many terrible things about them, but had fallen in love with a puppy, and it didn't matter what he was. I went and looked at then in their home, and was given the pick of the litter. But picked the same black pup out of the 4 black pups that were there. I took him home with me that day, and my life has been changed ever since.
