Doing great!

I have been doing pretty great! I have been playing with mom and dad and my new sister. It's been a lot of fun to spend time with both of them on the weekend.

Mom says we are going to go on a long car ride soon. We are really excited to go to new places. I wonder what it's going to be like?

Roxy is doing good. She got her new collar and is trying to figure it out. I got a new collar too! It's blue for Kobalt. :)

But yeah life is pretty great! Loving it!

Well my mom started talking about how she wanted to get a new doggie. She wanted to get me a friend to play with. I think that she could tell that I was lonely and that I needed someone to play with.

Mom looked for a real long time before one day she called another lady and started talking about a puppy. Soon we were in the car driving 3 hours. I hate the car so this was an interesting trip. I did pretty great though!

When we finally got there, mom let me out to stretch my legs and I was introduced to this little dog. She was sooo tiny compared to me! She is so short she doesn't even reach my stomach standing on all fours. When she is curled up her whole body is the size of my head. It's crazy!

At first I wasn't sure what was going on. Mom put us both back in the car and we drove away. We drove away with this little one in the car! At first I thought maybe it was a mistake, but now I love my little sister.

I have a playmate now! She runs, tackles and growls at me and we have so much fun playing together. I know she is little so I am very gentle with her, but sometimes I forget my size and accidentally squish her.

It's so fun to have a little sister to play with. I hope she gets bigger soon!

So far so good!

Well hey there! My name is Kobalt. I like long walks around town and chasing crickets around mom and dad's house. So a little about me, I am an Alaskan Malamute. http://www.akc.org/breeds/alaskan_malamute/index.cfm

I was the runt of my litter so I am not as big as my dad was (150 lbs) but I am getting there! I am 8 months old and I am a lazy dog. I love just watching TV with mom and dad. Sometimes I will even interact with the people on the TV. I try talking to them, but they never talk back.

I have been living with my parents for about 2 months now. When I was a puppy I was adopted by another family, but they found out I had something weird going on with my ears, so they took me back to my breeder and adopted my sister instead. I waited for a really long time for someone to adopt me. Then one day my new mom and dad came to visit. They were a lot of fun, but they had to wait a few weeks before they could adopt me. So when they did I was nervous, but I was very happy. When we got to the new house I explored everything. I was so excited!

I wasn't kennel trained at first, but my mom and dad have done an amazing job working with me and getting me comfortable.
I love my mom and dad! They play with me and pet me and snuggle with me.
