I am so happy. I love my new mom and being adopted. She calls my foster mom every day to tell her how much she loves me. She says I am very smart and that she is so happy she has me in her life. She tells all our friends that I am perfect! They are all very nice to me and say I am a pretty girl. I am so happy. I love being adopted.

My foster mom and my new mom spoke today about me. My new mom is so sweet. She bragged to my foster mom how sweet I am and how perfect she thinks I am. She likes for me to sleep with her. I think she feels safe with me here. I am real good at hearing odd noises and sounding an alarm. Well she feeds me the SAME food my foster mom fed me. I like it! I have a new food and water bowl. I have all I could want. We will see tomorrow how it is for me to stay home while she is at work. She bought me toys and chew bones to keep me busy but I just might sleep all day.
I heard my Mommy say that she loves me and she wants my foster mom to send in the papers and make sure I am registered to her because she knows before the trial period is even up that she wants to keep me. I am so happy!
Now my foster mom and dad can take in another dog to save.

I called Sadie's new mom to see how her first night went and make sure there was no problem. OH MY! Her new mom loves her already. She went shopping and bought toys, a new collar and matching harness and leash and treats and chew bones and a bed for the living room. Sadie slept in bed with her mom last night! She said she is "Perfect". Slept under the covers all night and in the morning popped her head out when her mom got up. They had visitors and Sadie was perfect with their company. Dogs, kids and Grandmother all came to meet Sadie and they loved her. Looks like Sadie has finally found her "forever home".
If you are reading this please read Sadie's story. She was through no fault of her own given away at least twice after being sold by a breeder. She then came to rescue and my husband and I fostered her as we looked for a GOOD home for her. Please consider fostering a dog in need for a rescue. The rescue pays the bills but you provide the TLC and home till they are adopted. Today I had to turn down 2 dogs that needed a home but gave a promise that I will take another one in 2 weeks. The owner will hold her till then. I have no clue how many end up in kill shelters that they loose their lives in, because they had no foster home. I don't think I even want to know the number. :(
