Tennis Balls...whichever one still has a squeeker that works.

Ella has a special diet, but loves the odd treat.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere she can chase the ball...I do think she likes the Bruce Trail though.

Shake-a-paw and down.

New Squeeky Balls :D

The highlight of my week...NEW SQUEEKY NON-ABRASIVE KONG TENNIS BALLS :D Every day, after one of our walks around the neighborhood or park, mom will throw us a tennis ball, unless she is busy and dad is hanging around the porch, lol! Then guess what dad...YOU get to play too :) After the first day or two, the balls stop squeeking, so it is always a treat when I grab one up from a long toss and SURPRISE!, it squeeks :D Jacob says I'm too rough with them, I disagree, they need to make them tougher for me.

My diet has been really frustrating for me...no table treats or other treats...but no more bad tummy either! Mom found some new treats for us though...we are allowed freeze dried liver treats. They smell good. Now if she would just hurry up and open the new bag.

It's been a lovely week for walks too. A lovely huge harvest moon to light the way, and not a drop of rain to spoil our outings. Jacob may not care, but I hate getting rained on. The morning and evening skies have been delightful. Afternoons...TENNIS BALL TIME!

It has been a good week.

This weekend should be fun too; Lily is coming to stay with us Saturday night. Dad's weekend babies are going with him and mom to Kitchener, so we are staying and relaxing, and having fun with our sitter :D

My First Entry...it's the girl's birthdays!

Daddy's kids are here this weekend, 5 in all. The 2 girls recently had birthdays, and since it is dad's weekend for the kids, we are all celebrating together.
Dinner is on, cake is made, and ice cream is in the freezer!
Kaylyn is 6 and Aspen is 5...both this past week.
It is always an exciting time when the kids are here, and Jacob and I miss them when they leave. Sniffing and searching...and wondering where they disappear to...only to return again much later.
Daddy's family will be here...his brother's, sister, their kids, and his mom and dad. Mom's family is far away and sent the girls cards, and called.
All the company will be fun as always, but overwhelming and tiring in the end.
We started the morning with a walk around the neighborhood, and a stop at the coffee shop...no Tim Bits for me anymore :( The vet, a lovely lady, put me on a special diet at the start of the summer. I've been feeling really great ever since, though I can't eat the treats I used. My belly is better for it!

Here's hoping for another walk soon...can't get enough!!
