Not much going on except that we don't get to go to the dog park much these days and everyone has been looking for us. Buddy's seems to be infection free which is good, I just pray we can keep it that way for another 20 days until SURGERY!! We have been avoiding the dog park and most social places but we have been able to get out on walks and well, you know how the boys are so, plenty of backyard horseplay.

Our sitter broke up with us yesterday. She will still be with us for a little while longer but she just lost her second to last client at the beach and although she mentioned more money, which we were ok with, she could only do afternoon visits and that is when Brad gets home so it does not seem like it would be worth it. Hopefully we'll have a couple more weeks until surgery so that while I am off, I can interview new sitters.

She did have an issue with Buddy yesterday when she tried to put a fresh Tinkle belt on him, he whipped his head around to her and looked like he was going to snap but did not. He squealed a bit which was unusual so, I told her I would check him out when I got home. Well it seems like he and Cooper were probably playing too hard and he got nipped right below his pee pee. I put vitamin e on it before bed which just kept him up for most of the night trying to lick it off...made for a grouchy mommie who barked at Daddy this morning. He said that if I don't get a good nights sleep, neither does he because I make it known to him all night long. I will not use vitamin e at night anymore. Poor little guy has been through so much and now this. Well, at least i Know that this will heal.

Anyway, The Bark in the Park Event is 19 days away and we are still far from our goal. I have a few people who have promised pledges but I have yet to see them. We shall see. I am still hopeful about making my goal.

That's about it in our world today, should really try to get some work done today, I have been slacking and cross posting instead. There's always tomorrow....

So glad there is no infection with Buddy! Not posting is fine, it's called life! And there is plenty to do! But we do appreciate the updates! :)

Avoiding the dog park is a very good idea.. just like kids at school.. its a hot bed of infection... I wouldnt go if you want to be sure to keep Buddy germ free.

I think the Sitter wasnt obviously understanding what the REAL problem was.. and therefore if she is that blind to a dog she knows well.. then her going is a good thing... Just my thoughts.

No worries about posting... I never catch up with myself... as Turners Mum says.. Life Happens !!!
