I knew something was up. Mom gave me and Haley a bath early Sat, morning. I knew we were going to Petco to say hi to people. I like Petco. Haley just hides behind dad. Big scaredy cat. Tis time mom sprayed me with doggie cologne and put my pretty red halter on me. I must say I looked real pretty. When we got there a man and lady were waiting for us. They met me and we liked each other. Then the man took my leash and the man, lady and their grown up son all walked to their car WITH ME! I got adopted!!! I have waited for this a long time. Well we went to my new house and boy is it nice. Lots of space to run and play in. You should see my yard. OH boy is it awesome. Big and bright and lots of soft green grass and NO other dogs.
Mom and dad came by to visit a little while later in the afternoon and they talked to my new parents about my safety, food, all kinds of stuff. Mom left my crate and stuff for me in case they didn't like me so they would not buy stuff and not need it. FAT CHANCE! They love me. Ya know what? I love them back! Guess what? I slept in the people bed with them. Ya! The PEOPLE BED! Oh boy is that awesome. I slept under the covers and I was very good. They think I am perfect. Mom called to check on me and I heard the man say they want to keep me. Yahoo! They went out and came back with all kinds of new stuff for me. I have toys and a crate and I don't have to share it with any other dog. I cuddle with my new day in the Lazy Boy and nobody tries to take my spot. I tell you my dear diary, I am in Heaven. I'm adopted. :)

Hallelujah, Miss Annie! Ya got a place all to yourself, no other dogs! Way to go! Surely that's a good sign they want you up in the recliner. And it's great they let you on the bed, can't understand humans who don't do that:(
But I have to fight to get on the bed 'cause my sisfur, Tessa, growls and warns me off. Glad to hear you have a yard to run in, we feel sorry for those city dogs. Pawrayers that everything is permanent!
