Arrival Story:
Moved back to California from Nebraska. (While I lived there, I adopted a female Red Heeler mix, Sissy. Long story short, serious family issues happened & I was unable to take her back to California with me). As soon as I got home from Nebraska I knew I wanted another female Red Heeler. My best friend at the time was searching on Craigslist and came across Red Heeler puppies for sale. She surprised me on the way to a horse auction in Turlock we were regulars at, On the way to the auction on Dec 5th 2010 We stopped in Patterson, Ca & looked at the heeler puppies that were for sale. I immediately picked out the last red female but was also extremely dissapointed in her markings, as she had 2 red dots on her ears & the rest of her body was white. My heart was set on buying a female. I put her back down and this chubby red male trotted up to me & sat in my lap, kissing me. I knew he had chosen me & I quickly felt a change of heart. Long story short, I bought the red male, he had the half mask, flea bitten/red speckle markings, diamond on forehead. I was very impressed & knew exactly this is the exact heeler I was indeed looking for. So I took him home. We are living Happily ever after! The End.
