spring?

Oh the heat is dreadful. We are staying inside 90 percent of the time.
We don't even go outside a lot till the sun goes down. Mom bought us all new harnesses but she hasn't taken any pictures yet.

Mom and dad got sick earlier from the heat when they went out shopping We were all indoors while they were gone,safe from the heat.We just wanted to say hello for now,please every pup be careful out there in the heat.

Still Spry For An "Old Man"

Ya gotta keep up with the kids, whew! It is fun but wow it can be exhausting,sometimes.I wouldn't trade it for the world though.Racing up and down the halls.Jumping on the bed and playing. It is softer than the floor for those hard landings,BOL!!!
Our friends told us about some treats made from Milk Bone. Mom is going to look for them when she goes shopping.Mom swears we hid the nail clippers but we are innocent!
Unfortunately mom is going to buy some more.(sighs)

A surprising day for spring

It has been great weather, high 70's some 80's in the past week so thats good right?
Not today, it started off cloudy humid, which I don't like with my fur.

So it was supposed to get colder today perhaps with showers LATER!Yes I capitalized that on purpose. We were outside playing and mom was coming out to join us and sit with a cup of coffee. Wrong. It is raining. grrr.

We are not happy as soon as she opened the door we came running in. Such a bummer. Mom was going to play with us before the front came in, oh well. We will just have to play and run inside earlier than we expected to.No walkes today either. I play in my water outside but hate rain , go figure.

I did my job well !!

We had the door open all day until it got to warm Friday. So she turned on the air and closed up the house. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door.I jumped up and was in guard mode along with Casper and Spunky.

There was a strange man at the door and our barking made him jump back.
We heard him ask if we wanted an alarm system installed. Mom told him,"no thank you, I have three and my system bites"!

We woofed at him all the way till he got in his car.Mom laughed after she closed the door cause of the way we scared him so.

WE don't need an ADT protection sign , a picture of our faces will do.

Update on diary entry "I'm usually a good dog but..."

Thank you everyone for all your helpful suggestions,on and off profile.
I'm getting better in the snapping department.

Mom is feeding us in a different order, she puts Spunky's bowl down first, then Casper's brings them in then mine. That way no one is passing me on my bad eye side.

Thank you again everyone. I love you all!!!!

I'm usually a good dog really,but......

I got in trouble with mom again! I usually 80 percent of the time, behave play nice with my siblings but lately I've been snippy too snippy for my own good.

Mom thinks it is because of my age and I'm not always wanting to play anymore. Spunky and Casper don't know which mood I'm in.Which is not a good thing.

This morning I didn't want to eat again but was protecting a very large area around the room where my bowl is and I wouldn't let Casper or Spunky come in the room, I snapped again at them so mom had to put me outside so the could eat in peace. It's not all my fault. They have too much energy sometimes for me.
If anyone has any suggestions for myself or mom could you let us know? I love Casper , Spunky and my mom and dad and don't want to be so mean. Mom
said the vet I'm a couple years older than mom put on my page.

The House Is Shaking

The house is shaking and you can feel the thunder rumbles on the floor. I don't like it at all. It is supposed to do this on and off for a few days.
I'm a good guard dog and help mom a lot but I don't like thunder and lightning. I go everywhere mom goes when its like this.
We're getting a lot of rain which mom said is real good for the grass to spread out.Love to all my pup friends out there.

Anyone have a boat?

What mom found in my ears!

As you know from the pictures, we played outside yesterday a lot and it is blooming spring in Texas. Which s good, the grass is growing , trees are dropping seeds. Trees dropping seeds, here in lies the problem. They are everywhere. Mom tries to keep them raked up but it is impossible. We played out side this morning and I kept shaking my head, but mom had just cleaned our ears so she was not sure why they were bothering me. All of a sudden
two seeds flew out of my ear.Mom said I better be careful or I was going to get a tree growing in my ear. Oh no! I hope she was kidding.
