Being with people, being outside, running, chasing ball, eating, getting pets.
Not going out in time. Being alone.
They get destroyed pretty quickly.
Stolen baked goods.
Beach or long hike.
Fetch, down, shake, bang bang, sit pretty.
Isaiah was adopted from the Border Collie Rescue of Northern California in April, 2010. Isaiah was turned in as a 9 mo. old stray in Redding, CA, and rescued from a pound in Chico, CA one month later. He was fostered near Elk Grove for 2 months. When he came to SF he had some health issues such as kennel cough and worms. He has always had lots of energy and attaches immediately to people. He passed the SPCA "Just the Basics" class in June, 2010. He loves to play fetch or run around dogs playing fetch, with his ball in his mouth. He immediately became known at Precita Park and Potrero Del Sol as "the fastest dog at the park." He is banned from Pooches Playtime for injuring a lap dog over a toy. He does not like to be herded or restricted from running. He is a good boy who requires frequent exercise and attention, and exhibits great focus in his behavior. He loves to be around people, receive and obey commands, and earn praise. He has many human and dog friends. Isaiah is now 4.5 years old and lives in San Francisco, CA.

Happy Birthday to our special guy (4/1/14). He has as much energy as ever. He has not gotten in any fights recently and we are working on keeping him out of unleashed interactions with larger dogs. Izzy greets each day with unbridled enthusiasm and recently has been enjoying long runs on the beach and digging in wet sand.

Tomorrow we will leave Isaiah for 10 days over winter break. It is never easy to leave our little guy but we know he will be well taken care of and will be waiting excitedly for our return!
